Fight ovarian cancer with Dallas’ annual spin-class extravaganza

I’ve written before about Wheel to Survive, the primary fundraiser for the ovarian-cancer-fighting Be the Difference Foundation. Women still die from this awful disease —  an estimated 14,070 in 2018, according to the American Cancer Society — so I’ll write about it again and again.

Wheel to Survive is a spin-class extravaganza held every year at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center of Dallas (you can call it The J). Teams and individuals raise money, then pedal away in one-hour segments from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. on Feb. 18. Last year, $336,000 was raised to help fight ovarian cancer.
